Zenith R-7000 Trans-Oceanic (1979)

Zenith R-7000 Trans-Oceanic (1979)
NEW!I bought this radio for parts and when I opened it up the dial belt was not working. I replaced the dial belt and it worked just fine. I have replaced all 22 electrolyte capacitors. The pots, switches and gears have been cleaned and lubed. I also aligned the radio for peak performance so it plays just like new. The case on it is in superb shape. It is an R-7000 built in 1979 and only 25,000 were made. The other problem with these radios is the bandswitch clicking mechanism. This one's bandswitch clicker does not work just like half of these radios. But most customers don't find it that big a deal since you can put the band on the indicator on the front. It comes with the original power cord and log chart. One year warranty. The radio will be shipped to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. Read some of my feedback on eBay under Hammer39. I bought this for a great price and therefore offering it for a lower price than you will find for a restored R-7000.  $345.00. (0040346)
