Zenith Y-600 Leather Trans-Oceanic (1956-57)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

If you have ever bought a radio from me, you know that this one is going to play like new. I wanted to do this radio like it was mine. So I have also added a solid state 50A1 and a 1L6 which pretty much bullet proofs the radio for decades. I have also added a battery so that the light works for the dial. As you can see from the pictures the selenium rectifier and all the electrolyte and wax caps have been replaced and the radio has been aligned to for peak performance. If small parts are missing I replace them with originals. The radio comes with an owner's manual which was for an L-600. No real difference in the manual. This plastic dial cover is in excellent condition but has one crack on one of the bottom screws. The case is in excellent shape with some blemishes as you would expect to see on a 60 year old radio. It is an awesome AM and Short-wave player. The price includes the solid state 1L6 and 50A1.
