Philco RadioBar (1937)
(wood other radio)

Philco RadioBar (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This console has been in my collection for quite a few years. It is a RadioBar with a Philco 37-620 radio installed. The radio was not original to the RadioBar. From my readings I found that some of the RadioBars were sold without radios and this could have been one of them. I found a 1937 Philco radio that was exactly like the Philco radios that were installed in this set. The Philco has been electronically restored with new capacitors and good tubes. The dial was replaced with a reproduction as these dials usually lose their lettering with age. The radio plays extremely well. The cabinet does not have all its original glasses. Some of the cups are original but the glasses are not. I will not ship this radio because I do not want it destroyed. I will travel up to 500 miles from Fayetteville, NC, one way to deliver it or meet you. My cost for delivery depends on how far I go. To give you an idea. 500 miles one way would be $350. 100 miles would be $100 or so. The last console I delivered free because I was going towards the customer's residence anyway. This is an excellent price for this radio.
