Philco PT-10 "Transitone" (1940-41)

Philco PT-10 "Transitone" (1940-41)
NEW!This six-tube Superheterodyne radio has been completely restored, the older capacitors all have been replaced with the newer longer lasting types, including the electrolytics which are the ones that are the cause of that deep hum in these vintage tube sets. So now it is clear without any hum. This radio has a very nice looking lighted dial and a built-in wire-wound antenna which gives this radio great reception. The very nice looking Bakelite case has no chips. scratches or chips. These PT Series "Transitone" Philco sets were high quality radios for the times but sold for what we would consider small amount of money just $16.50. 11-3/8"W x 7-1/4"H x 8"D.  $165.00. (0021372)
