Silvertone 4660 (1938)

Silvertone 4660 (1938)
NEW!This Silvertone radio receives broadcasts on AM as well as on a Short-Wave band. The great looking gold dial is a real head turner. Silvertone offered many models with this gold dial combination. Combined with the nice bright tuning eye, it really sets this radio off. The cabinet styling is very attractive as you can see. This set has been refurbished to its present condition. I have replaced all old wax capacitors. All the controls were tested and lubricated. All the tubes were tested as were the resistors. The power cord has been replaced with a better heavy-duty cord. In some areas it may require the use of a long wire antenna to bring in some distant stations (your area may be different and not even require it). It plays loud and clear with that warm tube sound that only a vintage tube set can give. All the knobs are original. I have installed a new old stock tuning eye which as you can see is very bright. The cabinet has been professionally refinished. 17"W x 10"H x 7"D.  $345.00. (0021337)
