This nice Trans-Oceanic has AM broadcast plus 4-8 MC Weather & Marine, 2-4 MC Weather & Marine plus five Short-Wave bands. Electronically restored and it's working very well. This model is certainly the best known and most famous one, and surely almost every radio collector encounters it sometimes somewhere. This model is rather widely known throughout Europe. The spread 49m band was omitted and two wider bands added, 2 to 4 MHz and 4 to 8 MHz which made a total of seven bands available. The reason behind this was mainly that the B-band medium wave (3 to 5 MHz) was demanded by Americans being stationed in the tropics as well as from yachtsmen wanting to watch weather and radio navigation stations at frequencies around 2 MHz, 3 MHz, and 7 MHz. When opened, the front lid shows the detachable Wave-magnet for medium wave (BC). Please note; It has just two issues, there is a spot you can see on the upper right of the Wave-magnet and a crack in the dial frame. 16-3/4"W x 11"H x 7-3/4"D.
