Stewart Warner 9008-B Porto Baradio (1947)
This is a very unique and rare, table model "radio bar" with complete, original glassware in excellent shape. No defects in the heavy, highly polished, black Bakelite case. Slight warping in the otherwise perfect ivory plastic dial surround. Great performance on just the internal loop antenna. Motorola C1N Clock Radio (1963)
Just a neat little brown plastic clock radio from the 60s with Civil Defense markers on the dial common to those days of the cold war and, of course, the times of the Beetles. The clock has been cleaned and lubricated and works fine. The five tube radio has been serviced and plays with ample volume and sensitivity on its internal loop antenna. Philco H765 "Predicta" Clock Radio (1958)
This beautiful radio is styled after the famous Philco "Predicta" television set. Black faced clock with gold numbers, hands, pushbuttons and trim swivels above an ivory base accented with plenty of gold trim and gold knobs. Very clean and polished. Clock has been lubricated and works and the hands glow in the dark! The radio has been serviced and works very strongly with good tone. Two pushbuttons missing but all functions work fine. Zenith T2519L1 Clock Radio (Early 1970s)
Typical straight, clean line styling of the early 70s. This highly polished, crystal clear clock lens, plastic clock radio is in almost mint condition with almost no imperfections. Clock cleaned and lubricated and radio serviced for years of service. Radium painted hands glow brightly in the dark emitting only 1 r/hr gamma radiation at 12" according to my Geiger counter. Silvertone 47 Clock Radio (Late 1960s)
This is an early transistorized table radio in a stylish, dark plastic cabinet with silver metallic grille, knobs, clock dial face and radio dial surround. The clock works and has been cleaned and lubricated. The dial lens has no scratches and is crystal clear as are the clock control knobs. The radio has been checked and works fine. Stewart Warner Lowboy (1930s)
Beautifully detailed carved wood and excellent original finish, this radio has ten tube sensitivity to pull in those distant stations and has push-pull 2A5 finals to belt out incredible audio! Silvertone 7227 (1939)
Built just as WWII broke out in Europe, you know this radio reported war news to the home front! Beautiful, strong, wood cabinet restored to original color and finish. Zenith 6-D-2620 (1942)
This is a uniquely styled little wood radio made just before the WWII ban on U.S. consumer radio manufacturing. Famous Zenith black dial, international short wave reception and nicely rounded top and inward slopping sides makes this radio highly prized by collectors. ECA 201 (1947)
Manufactured by Electronic Corporation of America in Brooklyn, NY, this nice wood radio has a scalloped, wrap around blond grille on a darker body. The slanted slide rule back-lighted gold detailed dial with clear, black reverse printing lights brightly when playing. All original. Strong playing with excellent tone. Classic lowboy radio with marbled tiger-eye wood panels in front and nice, deep grooved woodwork. Excellent wood and finish. Lighted dial. Capitol Records 736 (1959)
OK, get out those old 60s records you could never throw away and hear then play again! This is a cabinet-mounted, three component hi-fi entertainment center: turntable, DeWald tuner and built in speakers. Typically seen in many homes of this period. AM, FM, Phono (16, 33, 45, 78 RPM). Peerless Reproducer (1920s)
Sticker on original wood back cover says "made by United Radios Company." This is a very nice unit with very good, strong wood and fair finish. Clearly needs some restoration on the grille cloth and some speaker cone work. Speaker metal is fine. Stewart Warner 1911D (1938)
One of the late "farm radios" before rural electrification was complete. This one has 117 VAC option in addition to the usual 6 volt car battery supply. Five tube Superheterodyne circuit. Nice wood design on the ends and sits on a wood pedestal. Curved front corners. Veneer is complete but lifting a little in the back. Dial is in great shape but three knobs are missing. Display Vacuum Tubes
Impress and educate your friends and co workers (who may never have seen a vacuum tube) with these beautiful radio display tubes! General Electric 423 (1951)
Here is a nice 1951 ivory plastic radio that really pulls in the stations with good tone and plenty of volume. Knobs and back are original. It has a nice styling that should go good in most any kitchen or wherever a working radio belongs. Some minor nicks and wear but very clean and no cracks.
