American Bosch 205

NEW!

American Bosch 205

This smaller beauty was picked up in Northern Georgia about six months ago and was missing the speaker, so it had to be replaced with a modern P.M. type. This being said, this replacement is reflected in the price. The radio has had a complete restoration inside and out. The radio plays loud and clear, just like new. The 30 or so coats of hand rubbed lacquer really brings out the gorgeous wood grains. Overall a spectacular looking radio. The biggest negative about this radio is the chassis has some surface rust, which can be expected in a radio from the 1930's. This set can be yours, packed, insured and shipped for a total of  $250.00. (1070051)

Bendix 0526-E

Bendix 0526-E

This is one of the prettiest little wooden radios that can be found. This radio has some of the most beautiful veneers I've seen in a long time. The grain seems to pop out at you. It plays like new and has had a complete interior and exterior restoration and should give you years of trouble free use. The knobs and olive drab interior are original, but I have added the back cover as the original was missing. This great little set comes with a 30 day unconditional warranty. I will double box and insure it shipped free in the lower 48 states, others contact me for shipping costs.  $279.00. (1070047)

Farnsworth ET-061 (1946)

Farnsworth ET-061 (1946)

This Farnsworth radio has been electrically restored and repainted. There were no cracks in the cabinet, but it was chipped and scratched so I decided to repaint the body of the radio with a custom colored aircraft urethane paint. The blue grille is blue plastic and looks great, but it does have one small chip that can be seen in the photos. The radio plays nicely on AM and has AM/SW switch, but the coil on the shortwave is open therefore it won't work on shortwave. It was missing the original loop antenna but it has been substituted with a 10 foot line antenna and plays very good. The original clear Lucite knobs are another unusual feature of this radio. This beautiful and rare Farnsworth radio is priced including free shipping in the lower 48 states.  $99.00. (1070040)

General Electric GD-41

General Electric GD-41

Here's a little beauty! It's had my usual complete restoration both inside and outside and looks and plays great. The horizontal veneer inlay looks great against the vertically grained walnut wood. This is an eye catcher and would be a great addition to the novice or serious radio collectors as well as decorators. Many many coats of hand rubbed lacquer have been applied to attain this beautiful finish. Shipping, handling and insurance is including in the price.  $325.00. (1070048)

Philco 41-226

Philco 41-226

Here is a beautiful and somewhat scarce Philco Sled radio. It works like new and has a wonderful lacquer semi gloss finish. This set is just an eye catcher and would be a great addition to any collection. The Art Deco design is very unusual and almost seems to be moving when you look at it. It has six push buttons and three knobs: one for on/off, one for tone, and one to tune the radio. The right side of the set has a beautiful herringbone inlay and the other side has a fluting that was finished in a very dark finish that contrasts the walnut finish on the rest of the set. The plastic dial face that is usually very distorted is only slightly mis-shaped on this set. The buttons and knobs are original to this set, making this radio a real keeper.  $199.00. (1070026)

Philco 70 Cathedral (1931)

NEW!

Philco 70 Cathedral (1931)

This is the much sought after classic cathedral designed by Edward Combs in 1931. This one in the early version. It does not have the automatic volume control. This beautiful radio has been in my personal collection for about 20 years. I have recently added two other 70's to the collection so I am going to let this one go to a new home. The chassis has had all the capacitors replaced and any resistors out of tolerance also replaced and this beauty plays like new and sounds great. The chassis is exceptionally clean as seen in the photos. I did not have to do anything to the cabinet as it in wonderful condition. I did however clean and wax the cabinet. I am not sure if this is a refinish or original and the cord also has some age, again I am not sure if it is original or replaced but it sure is nice. It does have tiny blemishes in the cabinet. Email me for more photos on this radio. I will pack, insure and ship this wonderful classic radio.  $565.00. (1070050)

Regal Unknown Model

Regal Unknown Model

This beautiful little Plaskon radio is an All American Five from the 1940's. It has been electronically restored and the cabinet has been polished and looks very nice. It plays with good volume all across the dial. There is a small hairline on the right side of the radio but this is not unusual for this type of plastic (see the photos). Has my usual 30 day unconditional 30 day warranty and free shipping to the lower 48 states. Priced to sell at  $85.00. (1070038)

Emerson 106 (1935)

Emerson 106 (1935)

This is a very seldom seen Emerson. The cabinet was designed by the famous Ingraham Clock Company for Emerson and has been lovingly restored both inside and outside. This radio plays as nice as it looks. The burled walnut cabinet is gorgeous with about 30 coats of hand rubbed lacquer. It has its original knobs but the grille cloth has been replaced. The U6B chassis has been re-capped and any resistors out of tolerance has been replaced also. All the tubes were tested and are good. The old and crumbling resistance line cord has been replaced with new polarized cord for safety. More photos are available on request and the price includes free packing, shipping, and insurance. This radio is truly a showpiece.  $495.00. (1070049)
