I buy old radios, mostly transistor radios, and totally refub them back to original working radios. I put a lot of time and effort into these old antiques. I want them to last another 60 years or more. I will not sell junk. If the radios do not meet my standards, they do not ship. I have several folks that can send you references on my work. I always get great reviews. If a radio should not perform as it should, I will take it back and issue a full refund.

1962 Candle eight-transistor AM radio. What a nice collectable specimen. It is orange in color. It has no chips or dents. It had a crack in the upper left corner; I repaired the crack and reinforced it with fiberglass, and Epoxy on the inside. You will have to look real close to find the crack now. I polished the area very well. I restored the radio with new electrolytic caps, and retuned the circuits. I cleaned it inside and out. The audio is clear, and goes to full volume. Rare 1960 Golden Bell six-transistor AM radio. I restored this radio with all brand new electrolytic caps. The audio is clear, and goes to full volume. This is a real nice collector radio with the nice dial, and gold grille with shield logo. There are no dents or chips. There was a small crack in the upper left rear, which I repaired, and buffed out; it's almost not visible anymore. It comes with a leather case, which has a broken strap. Radio requires 9 volt battery. I was able to receive lots of AM broadcast radio stations across the entire band, even nite time stations from Canada. This radio is ready for display. Nice, and in new like condition Eton/Grundig S450-DLX dual conversion phased lock loop digital radio featuring clock, BFO, and continuous tuning. This radio receives AM from 520 to 1711 KHZ, FM from 88 to 108 MHZ, and Shortwave from 1711 to 29999 KHZ. The radio is like new. I did have to make one repair when received. The radio operates 100% now. The audio is clear, and strong. There is a telescoping antenna, and shoulder strap. Radio needs six "D" batteries (Not included). There are NO chips,cracks,or dents. Vintage restored Hoffman model KP-709 AM Solar and battery radio. I have restored this radio with all brand new electrolytic capacitors. Tuned the I.F.'s and the Oscillator. There is one crack on the side that I fixed, and reinforced with epoxy and fiberglass on the inside, and then polished the outside crack. You can see this in the second photo. Repaired the broken battery holder the same way. The radio also can operate with three "AA" batteries (not included). The radio has nice clear, and strong audio. The solar panel has the star on the cover. Tested the radio, and was able to receive many AM broadcast stations across the entire band. This is a rare, and very collectible radio. Here is a nice restored to working condition Magnavox Magna-Mate seven-transistor radio. Imagine seven transistors in this little radio that's only 2"H x 1-3/4"W. I did have to go in, and repair this little pistol. It plays lots of AM broadcast radio stations, and loud. This was considered a key chain radio. It is missing the chain. No chips, or cracks in the plastic. Some minor scratches. I tried to find a battery, but could not accomplish this yet. I did bench test it with 2.6 volt bench supply. This is a seven-transistor beauty in collector shape. It has a nice silver grille, and gold trimmed clock-like tuning dial. This radio has belonged to a collector friend of mine for some time, and has been stored behind glass for years. I have checked it out, and tested it for proper operation. It works good, and receives lots of AM broadcast radio stations across the entire band. I was able to receive stations from Canada at nite (740 ZumA RADIO). There are no cracks,chips, or dents. Vintage 1940's Sentinel 284 AM All American Five tube radio. American made five-tube classic Bakelite cabinet radio. All the capacitors, and some resistors have been replaced in this radio. The audio is clear, and strong. No static, crunchies, or chirps in this radio. The power cord has been upgraded to a polarized cord. This radio operates on The AM band, and receives lots of broadcast stations across the entire band. The Bakelite cabinet is in great condition. There are no cracks, chips, dents, or scratches. Looks new. There are only two knobs to control this radio, and they are mounted at the top on either side of the scale. This radio's chassis is mounted upside down at the top of the cabinet.
